standing on the corner of … arizona

As you know this past weekend Alex and I traveled to Arizona.  It was a long journey.  We left about 2:30 on Friday and traveled until 8:30 p.m. when we arrived in Mesa, AZ.  We were greeted with loving arms and chicken cibatta sandwiches, yum.  We watched HGTV and then went to sleep.  We woke up earlish on Saturday morning for a drive to Sedona, AZ. It was a beautiful drive.  I’m telling you, if you think WE live in a desert, you haven’t seen Arizona.  The colors, cactus, animals, food… so truly desert.  We ate the best mexican food I’ve ever had and conveniently smelled like it for the rest of the day.  We went to the Baptist church with the Grandparents and had a LOVELY service! Then we went to Cheesecake Factory for lunch…. Chicken Maderia, yum! (shout out to Leash).  We then visited Costco Home which I had never heard of.  It was pretty awesome and I wish we have a million dollars.  We soon parted ways to continue our long trek home, but left feeling loved.   I wish we had more pictures of all our adventures, but I leave you with a few from Sedona.  Have a pleasant week.
